President Biden and his administration has offended millions of Americans, millions of Christians. The White House's social media accounts will make the event viewable for those who cannot attend. April 15 (UPI) -- For the first time in three years, the White House on Monday will host its Easter Egg Roll event -- with a school-focused "EGGucation" theme. Presidents through the years have hosted the annual Easter Egg Roll, with the first one held in 1878 under President Rutherford B. Hayes, and it's been canceled occasionally for a variety of reasons. The District of Columbia disallowed the event in 1918 due to food rations, and it was canceled at the onset of World War II for security reasons, according to the White House Historical Association. Tickets for the free event on the South Lawn on April 18 will be available via online lottery starting Friday, March 25 and ending Thursday, March 31 at 10 a.m.

The American Egg Board also presented a commemorative egg to the first lady, a yearly tradition since 1977. The hand-painted chicken egg features images of children reading and stacks of books with the words "unity," "compassion" and "kindness" written on the spines. Inside the egg is a smaller chicken egg with a hand-painted bunny.

White House Easter Egg Roll event information and history
Children will use wooden spoons to roll colorful eggs in a race across the South Lawn. The history of the White House's Easter Monday Egg Roll is storied, dating back to the 19th century. After the event, the American Egg Board planned on composting the eggs, which will be used in community gardens and parks across the D.C., Maryland and Virginia area, Metz said. Gloria Elko, who lives in Fairfax Station in Virginia, signed up for the lottery to attend with her children but also applied to volunteer to increase her chances of getting an invite. Though she didn’t get to bring along her family, she was proud to be a volunteer. Special guests — including animated series character Bluey, Sesame Street’s Abby Cadabby and the Washington Nationals’ Racing Presidents — made their way through the event waving and dancing.

Metz said the donation of 30,000 eggs is a fraction of the 100 billion eggs that are produced and consumed yearly in the United States. There will also be appearances by professional athletes, children's book authors and costumed characters including Sesame Street's Grover and Winnie the Pooh. All U.S. citizens ages 18 and older, and foreign nationals of all ages (including children), must present a valid, government-issued photo ID upon arrival for their tour. Americans want all its citizens to be treated fairly and respectfully. We want our elected officials to be thoughtful and supportive of every segment of our community, but not at the expense of others. But President Biden does not show respect nor appreciation for the Christian community.

This year, the White House had a morning session that served as a quiet and calm period reserved specifically for people with disabilities. Scattered throughout the egg hunt, there were also audio-sensory eggs that beeped for children and parents who were visually impaired to find. Brianne Burger held her daughters’ hands as they smiled at yellow Minions characters circling an area on the lawn.
Since its founding, the Association has given more than $115 million to the White House in fulfillment of its mission. Sixth-generation farmer Sam Krouse, from Indiana, said he had “chills all morning” being at the White House to meet the Bidens to celebrate eggs and Easter. In the midst of challenges, such as the bird flu outbreak and rising egg prices, Krouse said farmers feel “a lot of responsibility” to provide eggs for people that rely on them for food and livelihood. The eggs used in the egg roll and hunt this year were all dyed five bright colors — pink, green, orange, light blue and dark blue. The egg roll was the second hosted by President Biden and the first lady.
Newly minted Oscar winner Da'Vine Joy Randolph will join in the weekend festivities as another of ABC News' A-list guests. Fresh off a successful award season for her supporting role in The Holdovers, Randolph, 37, is one of the most exciting names in Hollywood right now. Winners selected at random will be notified by email by April 7. Around 30,000 eggs have been shipped from the Braswell Family farm in North Carolina to the White House for the annual Easter Egg Roll. The team there spent weeks hard boiling and dying them neon pink and royal blue before dropping them off. The Easter Egg Roll made its annual return to the White House in D.C. Monday morning with thousands of people packing the South Lawn for the event.

Maundy Thursday observes The Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the apostles and Good Friday remembers the crucifixion and death of Jesus. Jesus Christ remained on Earth for a period of 40 days after His resurrection. During this time, He made several appearances to his disciples and others, providing further teachings and confirming His resurrection. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ ascended to heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God. This year, families were picked from a lottery to enjoy the ‘egg-ucation’ themed roll — which is inspired by first lady Jill Biden’s 30-year career as a teacher. PICTURE DAYFamilies will remember this day always with a fun photo!
Biden and the first lady then went to the lawn, each one blowing a whistle to kick off egg-rolling competitions. Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug, applauded as another group of children coaxed dyed, hard-boiled eggs to the finish line in a separate area. In a nod to Biden's "EGGucation" theme, NASA sent a souvenir wooden White House Easter egg to the International Space Station for the astronauts to help teach students about gravity. Jill Biden wants the White House's annual Easter Egg Roll to be about more than just coaxing hard-boiled eggs across the lawn to a finish line.

The event will be held on Monday and will see the South Lawn and Ellipse transformed into "a school community, full of fun educational activities for children of all ages to enjoy," the White House announced. Videos of the Official White House Easter Egg in space will be available on the White House's social media platforms leading up to the event. The White House Egg Roll dates back to 1878, when President Rutherford B. Hayes agreed to open the White House the Monday following Easter to all children who wanted to roll Easter eggs. In 1981, President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan hosted a hunt for wooden eggs that bore the signatures of famous people. Wooden eggs soon became the official White House Egg Roll keepsakes. The eggs are designed to reflect the special theme of each year's event and are inscribed with the signatures of the president and first lady.

Halle Bailey, who plays Ariel in Disney’s upcoming live-action adaptation of “The Little Mermaid,” also made an appearance along with, of course, the Easter Bunny. The president and first lady, left, participate in the egg roll. What brings it to life is all of you — your laughter, your joy, the art you create, and the memories you take home with you.
The annual Egg Roll has been in existence since the 1870s after President Rutherford B. Hayes made an order to allow children to roll their eggs at the White House. Eggs were on full display through nearly every aspect of the event — from the ones children rolled across the grass on spoons to the ones cooked for breakfast, said Emily Metz, president and CEO of the American Egg Board. The national marketing organization of the nation’s egg farmers has supplied the eggs for the event for over 40 years.
About 30,000 people, most of them children, are expected to participate in the festivities in nine waves between 7 a.m. In 1969, one of First Lady Pat Nixon's staff put on a fleecy white costume, and the tradition of an official White House Easter Bunny was born, according to the White House Historical Society. Mystique behind who was inside grew during the Trump administration when it was revealed that then-press secretary Sean Spicer donned the costume in the mid-2000s.
